Nokia 8$25,999 has started receiving its Steady Android 9.0 Pie update, a month Later it was scheduled to receive it.
It appears that the problems are resolved, because HMD International on Wednesday declared that the Android 9.0 Pie update for the Nokia 8 is currently rolling out in phases.
HMD International Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas declared on Twitter that the phased rollout of this Android 9.0 Pie update for the Nokia 8 starts today. As we mentioned, the company had in October declared the Nokia 8 and Nokia 8 Sirocco will be receiving their own Android 9.0 Pie updates in November.
However, once that date passed, HMD Global had explained the Nokia 8 update was postponed thanks to problems.
Later in December, the business rolled out the Android 9.0 Pie beta update to the Nokia 8 through its Nokia Beta Labs programme. It arrived with the standard Pie-based features, including Adaptive Battery and Flexible Brightness, a new navigation system, as well as the December 2018 Android security limitation.
The Nokia 8 was launched globally in August 2017, before being attracted to India in September of the exact same year. It obtained its own Android 8.1 Oreo update in February this year.
