The inbuilt Tata Communications’ “MOVE-IoT Connect” platform at the smartwatch will transmit location, messaging and video-calling data within an end-to-end encrypted virtual private network (VPN), ensuring optimum security.
“It implies parents are able to keep track and be in touch with their kids in real life but no information on the network could be intercepted by unscrupulous individuals,” he added.
The API-enabled, automated “MOVE-IoT Link” platform is fully integrated with Omate’s business procedures, giving the firm real-time visibility over customers’ data utilization patterns and management over tariffs and billing.
The software-defined capabilities of “MOVE-IoT Link” also make it effortless for Omate to customise features and content together with children’s needs in mind.

It will start shipping in June at the United States and in Europe in the first place.
