The recommendations come in a time when there is increased scrutiny by authorities throughout the world on how firms manage user information.
The Indian authorities should ascertain groups of sensitive personal data that are”crucial to the state in regards to tactical interests and authorities”, the board, led by former Supreme Court of India judge B.N. Srikrishna, stated in its report.
The report was awaited by international technology firms for its perspectives on data localisation.
