Last week, members of video gaming forum ResetEra discovered a post from October at a separate PlayStation forum called PSNProfiles, wherein an individual asserted that PUBG was at their own PS4’s game database.

“Don’t know when it’s coming out, but it is on Sony servers, hosting the match image and Content-ID for the PSN shop,” the PSNProfiles member added, together with two separate content IDs for both North America and the US. Both now display a 404 error.

In precisely the same ResetEra ribbon, video games analyst Daniel Ahmad explained that PUBG would be out next month on PS4, along with other users suggesting it points to some yearlong exclusivity deal for Microsoft and Bluehole, the South Korean parent company of PUBG Corp..
