Redmi Go has been launched in India, the first Android Go smartphone in the brand.

The Redmi Go cost in India has been put in Rs. 4,499 for its 1GB RAM/ 8GB inbuilt storage variant. For now, the 1GB RAM/ 16GB inbuilt storage version hasn’t yet been launched in the nation. It will be made available in two color variants – Black and Blue. As we mentioned, the Redmi Go was first introduced in January before being forced available in the Philippines at February. The dual-SIM (Nano) Redmi Move runs Android 8.1 Oreo (Go variant ) and sports a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) screen. It’s powered by a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC, coupled with 1GB of RAM as well as the Adreno 308 GPU.

Sensors on board the Redmi Go include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and a proximity sensor. The Redmi Move steps 140.4×70.1×8.35mm and weighs 137 g. It runs on a 3,000mAh battery that the company touts can provide a standby time up to ten days. The company is also boasting of their presence of two microphones that help reduce noise on calls – its own dual microphone noise reduction system.
